This weekend the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS), Driver and Vehicles Services (DVS) we will be hosting a CDL Skills Testing event. 

Commercial Driver’s License Skills Tests – Special Event

  • DPS-DVS is offering appointments for commercial learner permit holders to take their commercial driver’s license skills test on Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th.  
  • Commercial learner permit holders can begin scheduling these appointments today at 9:00am until all appointments are filled.
  • Appointments can be scheduled online at dps.mn.gov.

    • 04/10/2022 at Plymouth

Note: Those who pass their skills test on April 9, 2022, can apply for their commercial driver’s license the same day.  

DPS-DVS encourages all drivers to pre-apply online at drive.mn.gov prior to their exam to reduce wait time and ensure they bring the correct documents.
