Commercial Driver’s License Skills Testing Special Event:

• DPS-DVS is offering appointments for commercial learner permit holders to take their commercial driver’s license skills test on Saturday and Sunday, May 7th and 8th.

• Commercial learner permit holders can begin scheduling these appointments today, until all appointments are filled.

• Appointments can be scheduled online at dps.mn.gov.

Those who pass their skills test on May 7th can apply for their commercial driver’s license the same day. DPS-DVS encourages all drivers to pre-apply online at drive.mn.gov prior to their exam to reduce wait time and ensure they bring the correct documents.
